I LOVE images of beautiful people and to me, every person is beautiful!
I BELIEVE everyone deserves a great photo of themselves and their loved ones. My desire is to capture memories that last a lifetime, and are affordable enough to update regularly.
I’ve been annoying my family and friends with constant photo taking for as long as I can remember. However, whilst that was my passion, my ‘real job’ was in the corporate world for 20 years. Then something unthinkable happened. I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. I spent more than a year in treatment and recovery, but thankfully I’m now in remission. What I didn’t know then was that this horrible disease would become the catalyst for me to turn my love of capturing people’s beauty into a real business. Creating Melia Photography has allowed me do what is important to me – showing people just how gorgeous they really are!
I’m an Aussie who is very happily calling Singapore home, which could explain why I’ve lived here for 10 years. I’ve only recently realised my adoration of Sesame Street characters (especially Big Bird) and am completely addicted to dark chocolate. Oh, and I can’t walk past a Frangipani flower without picking it up to take home.
